Lead Front-End Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned front-end engineer to complement our security, UI and systems expertise. You will work with our team to develop beautiful and secure pages and widgets to delight users. You’ll have the opportunity to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and to make a big contribution to our architecture and development process. Our technology stack includes Linux, MySQL, Rails/Merb, Amazon EC2, Actionscript/Flex, Ruby, and Javascript/jQuery.

About you:

• You have 2+ years experience at cross-browser development of AJAX apps; 5+ years of software development experience overall.
• You have expert knowledge of X/DHTML, CSS, Javascript, and browser extensions and add-ons.
• You have experience with Javascript frameworks, such as jQuery, Prototype, Dojo, YUI, and Scriptaculous.
• You have a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Actionscript/Flex and/or Ruby & Rails/Merb is a plus.

This is full-time position, based in San Francisco, CA (near South Park and walking distance to BART and Caltrain). Salary is commensurate with experience and includes health benefits and stock options.
